Attorney Lee Brooks born and raised in Alabama, is recognized throughout the southeast United States for his career-long dedication to standing up for the injured, the cheated, the forgotten, and the cast aside against the greed and callous indifference of massive corporate goliaths. He graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State University with a Master’s of Science in Conflict Management, and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1998.
Brooks has won trials and numerous settlements across the Southeast in cases involving tractor-trailer collisions, catastrophic car wrecks, deadly railroad crossing impacts, motorcycle wrecks, bus injuries, dangerous business premises mishaps, fraud against consumers, and many other categories of personal injury cases. He is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an exclusive group of attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, with fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers as members.
Brooks is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, the United States Supreme Court, and both the Fifth and the Eleventh Circuits of the United States Courts of Appeals. He therefore extends T. Madden & Associates, P.C.’s reach, allowing the firm to serve the people in all of these jurisdictions.
Brooks has served on both the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors for the Alabama Association of Justice, and past memberships include the Georgia Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Mississippi Association for Justice, the Tennessee Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers. He was a frequent guest on Lawcall, a call-in question and answer television show. Brooks currently serves on the Ethics Committee for the City of Kennesaw, Georgia, and has served Parent Teacher Associations as chair of Legislative Committees and chair of the Community Outreach Committee to aid poor and underprivileged children and their families. He even bravely served a term as a PTA president.
His other passions include travel, comedy, his violin, his family, and his extensive collection of live tarantula and scorpion species. Brooks is an active member of Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Marietta, Georgia.
