Phil W. Lorenz

Philip W. Lorenz (“Phil”) is the managing attorney at T. Madden & Associates, P.C.  T. Madden & Associates represents individuals and their families who are injured through the negligent acts of others, whether as a result of a car or truck wreck, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability claim, or negligent security.  Phil is a veteran personal injury attorney, having tried and settled tens of millions of dollars in personal injury lawsuits and claims over the course of his 20+ year career.  After 11 years as an insurance defense attorney, Phil understands how insurance companies view, evaluate and value personal injury claims, and now uses that insider knowledge for the benefit of his clients.

Phil is admitted to all court of records in the State of Georgia as well as the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.  Phil graduated the Emory University’s School of Law in 2001, where he was the 2000 Civil Justice Foundation Scholar, a national Semi-finalist at the Dean Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Moot Court Competition hosted by the Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York, and a Top 10% Oralist in 1998 in Emory’s Legal Writing, Research and Advocacy Program.  Phil graduated, magna cum laude, from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virgina where he was the 1998 Outstanding Graduate in Political Science, selected to the Dean’s List three semesters, and elected to the Phi Kapp Phi and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Societies.

Phil has been ranked AV® Peer-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbel® since 2013 and listed on Martindale Hubbel’s Bar Register of Preeminent Attorneys™ since 2016.  A former Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, Phil served with distinction from 1979 to 1993 and was decorated by the Commanders of both the U.S. Pacific and Atlantic Fleets.
