Roslyn C. Grant
Attorney Roslyn C. Grant – Of Counsel, born a native of Atlanta, Georgia to Larry and Linda Grant. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, graduated Cum Laude, and participated in a variety of organizations including but not limited to, the Clark County Mentor Program, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, Georgia Girls football recruitment organization, Hoop Girls basketball recruitment organization, Gamma Sigma Sigma service sorority, and B.E.S.T. (the Black Educational Support Team), as well as G.R.T. (the Georgia Recruitment Team). She is currently a member of, or otherwise involved with, the State Bar of Georgia, Sisters Against Domestic Violence, the Clayton County Pro Bono Project, the Single Parent Coalition, and the Student Education Support Ministry of New Life Church. Further, she has volunteered as a panelist on several panels related to domestic issues for various civic and non-profit organizations.
After receiving her B.A., Attorney Grant went on to graduate from the University of Georgia School of Law where she received her Juris Doctorate. There her participation included B.L.S.A. (the Black Law Students Association) and tutoring for the University of Georgia Athletic Association. After graduating from law school Attorney Grant worked at the Flint Circuit Counsel on Family Violence, a.k.a. Haven House, as a Legal Advocate advocating and assisting victims of domestic violence for a year before receiving her license to practice law in May of 2006.
Recently, Attorney Grant was the featured attorney guest on WAOK1380’s Sidney Woods morning show in conjunction with her work with the Single Parent Coalition. When Attorney Grant is not working, or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her close family and friends, exercising, listening to music, and taking in the sites of the city. She is a member of New Life Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, where she attends regularly.
