Lauren E. Washington
Attorney Lauren Washington was born in Detroit, MI and raised in Atlanta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Michigan, where she was recognized for her leadership as one of the Michigan Daily’s Top Ten Students of 2010. Following graduation, she became a 7th grade English teacher in Memphis, TN, as a member of the Teach for America 2010 Corps.
Attorney Washington received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2015. There, she was an active participant in various student organizations, including the Black Law Student Association and Mock Trial, where she served on the executive board. During school, she obtained a number of litigation-focused positions, including with the Athens Clarke-County Public Defender’s Office and the State Farm Claim Litigation Counsel. Following graduation, Attorney Washington worked for R. Gary Spencer, P.C., a firm in Downtown Atlanta.
Lauren Washington is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. When she is not working, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and teaching dance classes.
